Previous Events - Treasure Island Holiday Club 2009

From 26th May to 28th May 2009 we held a Treasure Island Holiday Club for children aged 5 through to 11. There were quizzes and games, craft and songs, as well as a few prizes. About 150 children from the local area attended and learnt about the real treasure, Jesus Christ. We'd like to thank to all those who helped make it such a successful holiday club.

Here are a few pictures from the three fun-packed days:

Previous Events - Light Party, 31st October 2008

When most children are out trick-or-treating on 31st October, we at Lliswerry Baptist church hold a Light Party for children in the area and church family members. This year's theme was fairground. Children could try their hand at many different fairground attractions, get some candy floss and toffee apples, and hear the message of God's love.

Previous Events - The Church Barbecue, Tuesday 8th July 2008

Each year we hold a church barbecue. It's free for people to attend, and it's a chance for people to chat and share fellowship. This year, as in previous years, the barbecue was held at Nash Community Centre, which has a good amount of open space, a playground area, football goals, and an indoor hall in case it should rain - no need this year, as we were blessed with sunshine. We'd like to thank all those who helped make it such a wonderful evening. Below are some photos from the event:
